Intel Gaming Cup / 3xE Gaming Competition - For RP, secondary and ITE students.


Update: CS 1.6 is now in the open category all level of players and teams can take part.

Hi All,

There will be a DOTA competition for RP students during the upcoming OpenHouse. The competition will be held from Jan 15-16th, Monday - Tuesday. Details provided below:

Intel Gaming Cup:
Date, Day: January 15 - 16th, Monday - Tuesday
Game Played: DOTA
Number of Teams: 16
Registration Fee: $25 per team, $15 will be refunded
Max. number of players per team: 6 (5 players + 1 reserve)
Requirements: Must be current RP student (produce RP student to verify)

Prizes are yet to be confirmed by Intel.

Competition will be held played using latest Intel powered desktops over LAN network @ Agora Hall 3.

We've also got a gaming competition planned for secondary school and ITE students during the first 2 days of the OpenHouse (Jan 13-14th, Saturday, Sunday)

3xE Gaming Competition:

Games Played: DOTA
Number of Teams: 16

Max. number of players per team: 6 (5 players + 1 reserve)
Requirements:
Must be current secondary school or ITE student (produce student ID to verify)
Must be student waiting for O'level results.

1st - 5 PlayStation Portables (PSP)
2nd -5 Razer Diamondback + Mantis

Yes RP students can play together with Secondary or ITE students however only for the CS 1.6 category.

When is the deadline for signing up? CS 1.6

Deadline is 9th January, Tuesday; but sign-up fast cause slots are being taken up.

Hi All,

Thanks to your all support we've been able to fill up and close the DOTA category for RP students.

The DOTA category for secondary, ITE and O'level students will also be closing.

We hope more teams will come forward and sign-up for the CS 1.6 Open category.
